1.    What I like best about East High School are the teachers.  For the most part, I have had teachers that are fun and that make it easy for me to look forward to going to class.

2.    If I were principal for a day, I would make school only one class a day, whichever class is the student’s favorite class.

3.    The weirdest activity I’ve ever done at East was when I was acting out a scene from Julius Caesar and I had to stab another person using a light saber as a sword in a fight scene.

4.    The school accomplishment that I am most proud of is making at least honor roll every year, so far.

5.    My favorite food in the cafeteria is turkey and gravy with a side of mashed potatoes meal.  They don’t serve it very often, so when they do, I make sure to stay in the cafeteria that day.

6.    Someone should warn the incoming freshman about how quickly high school goes by, and how before you know it half of your senior year is gone.  They should take the time to enjoy it and not listen to any of the drama going on.  They should also know not to wait around to fill out college applications and scholarships; take advantage as soon as you can.

7.    Looking back…
When I was a freshman, it was the first year that the freshmen had to stay in for lunch.  The cafeteria was crazy every day and you were lucky to get your food if you weren’t first in line.
When I was a sophomore, I remember taking a break during basketball practice and playing dodge ball instead.  The team really needed one night away from basketball just to relax and maybe take some anger out on other players in a safe way.
When I was a junior, the Packers won the Super Bowl!  They beat the odds after all of the injuries in the beginning of the year.  I remember getting a day off of school because of the Super Bowl win.
Now as a senior, I try not to let senioritis infect me.  I am keeping up on all of my school work, and surprisingly, have a life outside of school.
Looking forward…
After high school, I plan to go to a 4-year college and graduate with a degree in criminal justice.  I want to become a police officer and hopefully work in the Brown County area.

8.    My favorite memory of this school year was at the homecoming dance.  I had taken my friend’s younger brother as my date and we had a great time dancing and just hanging out with all of our friends.

9.    A “Kodak Moment” that I wish I had a camera for was every day that my friends and I dressed up during the weeks of homecoming and snowball.

10. East High School is like a chocolate chip cookie. On the crunchy outside, there is a bad reputation.  On the gooey inside, we are really all soft and kind.
